We just completed endurance testings (50h requested according CS22 regulations) of our
FES propeller as part of EASA certification program. Testings was
performed by SAirKo company. Actually they
prolonged it (as everything was set up already) to reach 100h and
this was also succesfully completed!

This weekend - starting on Friday we have short gliding competition in our club with 22 pilots on entry list, with 3 FES equipped sailplanes!
Three FES equipped sailplanes are flying on FCC competition in Prievidza in Mixed class. Two LAK17B FES and one LAK17A FES!
We are glad to inform you that we reached important milestone in production - stator plates produced by stamping tool.
As big accuracy is neccesery we were using up to now very expensive and time consuming EDM wire cut CNC machine. With more and more orders we were not able to produce enough motors with this process, so we decided to build stamping toll, which was quite big investment. This will greatly improve our production capabilities!
First LAK17B FES delivered to US. It was presented on SSA convention in Reno, Nevada. FES team was also participating on event!

We are glad to announce that we started working in new workshop for FES assembly and production on 300sqm. This will improve our production capabilities to new level.
Last weekend we performed a special FES sailplane start, which can make gliding much cheaper!
Idea is simple: Use of FES after being airborne with help of auto-tow.
Only a few sailplanes have high enough landing gear, so that
propeller clearance on grass is not too small for safe self launch.
With help of auto-tow than all FES equipped sailplanes would
not need towing plane or even winch any more to become airborne. All you
need is FES equipped sailplane, usual car and about 120m of Dynemma
rope. Such start could be used also on relatively short, let say
750m long airfields, which are otherwise too short for usual winch
or car launch! If only short runway is available, than more powerful
car is needed for good acceleration.

FES participated on Berblinger Flight competition
We were succesfull at completing the task of competition
(flight from Friedricshafen to Ulm and back) and this succesed
only 8 planes, from 36 teams.
